“Any individual/organisation (governmental or non-governmental) may send their submissions in the form of consultation/discussion/working papers, on any of the issues pertaining to uniform civil code (except the issue relating to Triple Talaq, which is pending before Parliament) to the Member Secretary, Law commission of India” reads the message posted by the Law Commission on its website.
The stakeholders can send their submissions to Member Secretary, Law Commission of India – 4th Floor, Lok Nayak Bhavan, Khan Market ,New Delhi 110003 or by email to lci-dla@nic.in on or before April 6. The Commission has further said that “if the Commission needs further clarification on any submission(s) so made, the individual/organisation or other stakeholder may be called for a personal hearing/discussion”.
